PKAkatora (also known as PKBowsy, TORA_V4, Noramato, and 野良まと) is a dutch VOCALOID cover artist of moderate popularity. He has his own YouTube channel, which he has been running since 2013 and, as of November 26, 2024, has 160,000 subscribers.

Tora is primarily focused on creating VOCALOID covers of various songs, including originally non-Vocaloid ones; occasionally publishes various jokes and post-ironic content. Voiced at least one UTAUloid twice. Collaborated with SilvaGunner and TimmyTurnersGrandDad.

He is known for constantly getting into all sorts of trouble, which led to him changing his nickname several times and being removed from the VOCALOID wiki for not meeting community standards. He made some people so butthurt that they wrote a dossier on him on that groyper-incel shithole called Kiwifarms.

Tora produced a large amount of covers and RIP remixes for SilvaGunner (26) and TTGD (54). For the sake of brevity, the only compositions listed in this section are the ones to which PKAkatora has made significant contributions.

• Corona feat. Hatsune Miku (YouTube, 2020, 1M+) — original song, inspired by a TikTok video made by Netta Brazilai;
• YonKaGor - Fallacy (MIKU ver) (Bandcamp, 2022) — YonKaGor's single, official cover, PKAkatora was invited as VOCALOID tuning expert.

Criticism

Conflict with Raki Saionji

In 2019, Tora (known as PKBowsy at the time) used Project DIVA Future Tone Arcade hacked ROM for his content, which was produced by pro-trump^[source?] modder Raki Saionji. Tora allegedly didn't credit Raki, which made him very upset and led him to hiding the GitHub repo with the mod. PKBowsy changed his nickname after this incident.

To this day it is not known if Tora has actually credited Raki. Various claims that he did so in YouTube comments once exist, however there is no way to verify if that comment ever existed as it is not available today. Moreover, Tora himself told that he doesn't "credit waste" when asked about the situation.

Piracy and UTAU porting

PKAkatora used pirated VOCALOID voicebanks and even made UTAU ports of them. In western vocaloid community this behaviour represents cringe of the highest order. Tora has never actually shared the ported voicebanks with anyone, however VOCALOID Wiki moderators found him uploading a cover made with UTAU-ported Kaito to be a sufficient reason for issuing a permanent ban.

KAFU voicebank incident

Tora got disqualified

Once upon a time PKAkatora managed to download KAFU voicebank from AHS website before the general release. He did so by guessing the URL address of the file, which was uploaded by AHS staff ahead of time without proper nginx access configuration. After successfully recovering the voicebank Tora allegedly leaked it and made a cover of some^[which?] song with it. According to Twitter, AHS expressed interest in taking legal action against Tora.

Despite this brief conflict with AHS, Tora has taken part in Koharu Rikka giveaway organized by them. They even called him a winner, but later disqualified him after getting reminded that he was the one who leaked KAFU half a year ago.

Minors on Discord

Tora had an NSFW channel on his Discord server. On a server with minors, yeah, just like DE did, except that instead of boots a guy named vito has posted shota-porn there. At that moment Tora was AFK, so moderator named Violin was the one to take the action against vito's tomfoolery. In the end, vito was banned by Violin, however Tora unbanned vito as soon as he became aware of his "exquisite taste".

Tora has denied that this situation ever happened on his Discord until the transcripts became available to the general public on Tumblr.

Suspicious preferences

Tora is a big fan of shota content and has even thirsted over a 16 year old character on Twitter which is, frankly, not that surprising given the whole vito situation that took place on his Discord server. Nontheless, on September 6th 2022 his nsfwtwt alt-account got exposed, which gave the general public an opportunity to learn about his "preferences". They, apparently, include incest, noncon, furry stuff and pokemons. Like, non-humanized pokemons. Tora has also reposted NSFW content with chipmunks from Chip and Dale and with Big Man, a stingray from Splatoon.
